Silk Basket of Flowers

The Silk Basket of Flowers wall tapestry has a fine rarity: it includes silk in its weave. Silk was used in many old French tapestries but today's weavers have instead chosen viscose to create a sheen on their tapestries. However this French weaver has recently produced a very small number of very fine tapestries including silk in the yarn composition. So you can enjoy a superb balance of fine detailing with a gentle sheen combined with the fullness that some wool provides.

This floral tapestry is available in two sizes and with two backgrounds, black or soft cream. It is lined, with a rod pocket for easy hanging - we provide tapestry hanging information with each order.
